As an independent agency, Summit 1 Health isn't tied to a single insurer. We compare plans across 20+ national and regional carriers so the recommendation is built around your ZIP code and budget — not a sales quota.
We don't sell one plan. We find your plan.
Every carrier has a plan that looks great on paper. Our job is finding the one that actually fits your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget — explained in plain language, not policy jargon.
Answers before you call.
What's the difference between Short-Term and Major Medical?
ACA Major Medical covers all minimum essential benefits — doctor visits, hospitalization, prescriptions, preventive care — and can't deny you for pre-existing conditions. Short-Term Medical is a faster-issue, lower-cost bridge plan for gaps or transitions, but with more limited underwriting.
Does it cost anything to compare plans?
Nothing. Our comparison service is free — agents are compensated by the carrier when you enroll, not by you. You won't pay more using Summit 1 Health than going direct.
How long does enrollment take?
Most clients are enrolled within 24–48 hours of their consultation call. Your licensed agent handles the paperwork; some plans allow same-day enrollment.
What if I have a pre-existing condition?
ACA-compliant Major Medical plans cannot deny coverage or charge more for pre-existing conditions. For other plan types, your agent reviews your situation and points you toward the options where you'll be well covered.
Are you licensed in my state?
Summit 1 Health is licensed to operate in all 50 states. Your agent will know the specific plans available in your state and ZIP code.
What do I need for the call?
Just the basics — your ZIP code, household size, approximate income, and any doctors or prescriptions you'd like to keep. Your agent does the rest.
